‘There Must Be More’!

Have you ever said, “there must be More to life than this!” More to the Christian life? More to church and even God? More to the “American Dream”? More to marriage? More than the daily grind you are in? Well I have good news for you. There is MORE! And that MORE is found in Jesus. 

Over the next number of weeks I would like to invite you to join us at Arise Vineyard on a journey into the ‘Adventure of MORE’. More Love, More Power, More Holy Spirit, More Prayer, More Compassion, More Kids/Youth, More Family, More Justice, More Healing, More Faith, More Wisdom, More Spiritual Gifts. And so much MORE! How does that sound? Could be life changing! There is soooooooooo much More God wants to do IF we dare to embrace it.  

The “Whatever” attitude so many people have these days has got to go. Question? Do you want some of what God has for you or do you want it all! Are you satisfied or do you want MORE. Are you willing to risk again, believe again, go again, trust again, start again?

The Apostle Paul even at the end of his life was pressing forward for the MORE GOD had for him. Phil 3:13-14  Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Paul never saw himself as arriving or topping out. Even in a Roman prison with the end in sight he was still pressing into the more that God had for him. What a picture! He reminds us that the way forward is forgetting what is behind and pressing ahead for what God has for us. 

So let's refuse to allow the past to decide our future! Time to let go of the past that tells you no and say yes to God’s more for your life.
